Being a parent comes with different responsibilities and victories. Sometimes it’s your child sleeping through the night, and other times it’s managing to get through the day without a meltdown.

Taylor’s Review
I am one of those people who enjoys cleaning. I know that sounds wild but I enjoy it. Pre-baby I had an entire day each week dedicated to deep cleaning our home. (You can read about it here.) But with a baby, cleaning isn’t an easy task.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when the box arrived but it surpassed any and all expectations. First of all, the packaging is minimal and setting up the vacuum is easy. All you have to do is pop in the handle with a click. The charging station takes up little space and charges efficiently.
The vacuum comes with a manual, charging station, cleaning brushes, and floor cleaner. I used the included floor cleaner the first time but used my favorite floor cleaner afterwards because I prefer the smell over ammonia.
Some highlights:
Simultaneous cleaning: The two in one cleaning option this provides is amazing. I felt guilty about the lack of time I had to vacuum our home then go back and mop afterwards. This achieves clean floors in very little time.
Cordless: You can’t beat it! It’s annoying when you’re cleaning to also chase around outlets every time you want to vacuum three more feet. I have yet to pull out my vacuum cleaner since we got this one because I can’t imagine going back to plugging it into the wall. The charging station is discreet and easy to tuck away.
Charging capability: According to iLife’s website, the W100 is able to clean up to 2150 square feet in one charge. While I haven’t tested that theory in my 1800 sq ft home, the battery has yet to die on me while obsessively cleaning our living room over and over again.
Self cleaning: I love that I can also run a self cleaning cycle for the roller brush. It only takes 60 seconds while on the charging dock before it’s ready to go again. Inside the dirty water tank is a Hepa filter that is easy to rinse when you empty and rinse the tank.
While mopping my living room, main entry ways, kitchen, and half bath, I usually have to refill the water tank midway through. I wouldn’t even consider it a minor inconvenience. The dirty water tank has plenty of space to wait to be emptied at the end of vacuuming and mopping.
The funniest part of this vacuum is the voice assistant. I’ll warn you, it’s loud. I was startled at first. When I asked Chloe about her reaction to the voice assistant, she said “What voice assistant?” Turns out there’s a button to turn the voice on and off on the back. It’s off now for our household but I do think everyone should experience it at least once. It announces it’s on, charging, and reminds you to empty the dirty water tank.
This wet dry vacuum has become a part of my daily routine all because of its ease of use. Sometimes I use it twice a day just because it’s fun. I can feel the difference when I walk barefoot in my house. I no longer worry about my son crawling on the floor because I know it’s getting cleaned well daily. I can’t recommend this wet dry vacuum enough.
Chloe’s Review
I am the opposite of Taylor when it comes to cleaning… I absolutely hate it. It just doesn’t come naturally for me. Adding 2 kids into the mix has made it even harder to keep my house clean! But I still have to try, and when my 5 year old vacuum started to die after 2 minutes (or less) of use, I was starting my search for a new vacuum that would be good to use on my hardwood floors. Imagine my excitement when we were contacted by iLife about trying out their new Wet/ Dry Vacuum!
What I love:
Right out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how aesthetically pleasing this vacuum was! It fit right in with the look we like in our house. The fact that it functions as a vacuum AND a mop has been great, I’ve replaced my stick Dyson and my Swiffer Wetjet.
Having a toddler, a lot of food ends up on the ground around meal time, and it has been so easy with the W100 to clean it all up in seconds. Like I previously said, my former vacuum was dying in less than 2 minutes, which really got me no where. With the W100, I have been able to clean my entire upstairs on one charge! The whole process of using this vacuum is so easy, and to make it even easier, it has a self cleaning function! My husband would say his favorite part about this vacuum is that I have actually been using it (haha), but really, I have been using it every single day and my floors have never looked better!
