Every year, I set a goal of how many books I am going to read, and every year, I fail miserably. This year I’ve decided to be realistic with my reading goal. As a mom of a newborn & a toddler, there really isn’t that much extra time in a day for reading. I do however have enough time for a few chapters a night, so, my goal for 2022 is to read 25 books (but hopefully more!) I’m off to a good start with 3 books finished in January!

The Books
- The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn– If you love Bridgerton on Netflix (who doesn’t?!) then you HAVE to read this! This book is the second in the series, which season 2 will be based off of. With season 2 premiering in March, I wanted to make sure I read this first! While I would love to read more about the Duke & Daphne, this book follows the oldest Bridgerton son, Anthony, on his journey to finding a wife.
- It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover– I saw this book being talked about all over Tiktok & Instagram, & I bought it without really knowing anything about it. But, WOW… I think I have a new favorite book. I actually don’t want to give anything away about this book, because it took a turn that I wasn’t expecting at all and I feel like that might not had happened if I knew some of the themes. Just trust me on this one, it was amazing. I can’t wait to read more Colleen Hoover books!
- Cole & Sav: Our Surprising Love Story by Cole and Savannah Labrant– I love reading biographies and my sister found this one for me in a bargain bin for $1… haha. This was a super easy read and if you care at all about the Labrants it is kind of interesting to read about their story!
I have a never-ending ‘to be read’ list & I am hoping I can get through a lot of it this year! Let me know in the comments if you have any book suggestions to add to my list!
