What’s In My Son’s Easter Basket

Since before I had Camden I was counting down to my two favorite holidays with him – Christmas and Easter. He will be almost 9 months for Easter which means he’ll be more aware than he was for when Santa came to visit him for Christmas. Lately he’s been trying to get into everything within reach so I’m sure he will be digging into his basket this weekend!

I went a little crazy on swim suits for him. I know he’ll taste it first then toss it to the side when he realizes it isn’t the most fun part of his basket but he started swim lessons back in February and needed some new suits. I added swim shirts too for our upcoming pool and beach days.

I spent a while in the aisle of Target deciding between which bunny books to get him. I decided on Hatch (touch and feel book), I Love you All the Time (made me cry), and a classic, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

Camden hasn’t played with bubbles yet and I know Kaleb will love using the bubble blower with him! Selfishly, my favorite item in the basket is Solar Buddies – a sunscreen applicator. We’ve been outside more lately so I’ve had to put sunscreen on Camden’s face and it was not easy. Between my wiggle baby and my long nails, it’s quite an event. The reviews for this applicator are awesome so I can’t wait to try it out!

Anything small enough to go inside the eggs is likely a choking hazard so I skipped filling them this year and am giving him the eggs to play with. Along with the giant baby fidget toy and the wind up jumping chick. (So cute!)
